Climate change is recognized as an emerging risk .it needs to be included in DRR and development planning. This paper by Inter-Agency Task Force on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction provides a brief description of DRR and selected tools. According to this paper DRR tools based on local knowledge and experience gives effective framework for climate change communities to build adaptive capacity. Local knowledge and experience of disaster managers have been specially emphasized to develop DRR tools and climate change adaptation. So it is suggested in paper that that Policy makers and practitioners working on climate change adaptation should take benefit of the experiences and knowledge of local community involved in DRR in extreme weather events related to hydro-meteorological hazards. This paper gives information on DRR tools. The paper advocates for Integrated Climate Risk Management. It will be possible when individuals and organizations working for DRR,, climate change development, environment, poverty reduction, financial planning, and health come together .
